APSMBI held an international seminar and international PKM which was held for 4 days from 30 May – 2 June 2023. The year plenary session was held at the University of Borneo Tarakan, North Kalimantan. This plenary session began with an Opening Speech by the Chancellor of the University of Borneo Prof. Dr. Adri Patton, M.Si.. At the international seminar held this time, three keynote speakers were presented. The first speaker, namely Prof. Pao-Ann Hsiung, from National Chung-Chen University, followed by the second speaker Noor Fzlinda Fabeil who is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sabah and the final speaker for Mayor of Tarakan namely dr. Khairul, M. Kes. In addition to the presentation of the material from the three speakers, the seminar was continued with a parallel session of research presentations from the seminar participants. At the APSMBI activity this time apart from international seminars, international PKM activities were also held. This International PKM targets MSME actors in border areas, namely on the island of Nunukan. Through this activity, APSMBI hopes to be able to contribute not only to the world of education but also to have a real impact on business people. Particularly for MSME actors in border areas, so that economic development is not only concentrated in urban areas but also in other regions throughout Indonesia.
